A Community Comes Together

A Conversation on Grade Configuration

More Information Videos:

On June 23, 2015, a cross section of nearly 100 community members came together to discuss how to address the issue of grade configuration and the growing enrollment at the elementary and middle school levels. With charter schools shutting down and enrollment increasing, the district is out of space at its middle schools and in some elementary schools. A long term solution must be investigated and decided upon by the winter of 2015-16. The community conversation helped frame the priority issues and provided potential solutions for moving forward in the best interests of the community and its children. See the video below, which distills the nearly four hour meeting.
